Short description: IGPSC DOMAINE ROYAL DE JARRAS BLANC BIO 2022 white wine is a product of Domaine Royal de Jarras, located in the Camargue region of southern France.
Classification/ Type: Sable de Camargue
Tasting:
– Eye: This wine is characterized by a beautiful pale yellow color with silver reflections.
– Nose: The delicate and very fine nose expresses notes of white flowers such as jasmine. It reveals a beautiful minerality underlined by fresh citrus fruit notes.
– Palate: A nice attack gives the wine vivacity and fullness on the palate. The latter is generously underlined by notes of white flowers. A slight salinity provides it with an unctuous length, the signature of a great wine from the Sable de Camargue terroir.
Food pairing: Domaine Royal de Jarras Blanc Bio Tête de Cuvée 2022 will be ideally paired with an aperitif, fish, a seafood platter, blue cheese or goat cheese.
Ownership & History:Vranken was founded in 1976 by Paul-François Vranken, a Belgian businessman . He was able to bring together legendary brands like Pommery , Charles Lafitte and Heidsieck & C. Monopole around the Vranken Champagne House. During these 40 years, Vranken have also assembled a very precious heritage represented by their vineyards in Champagne, Camargue, Provence and Portugal. Today, with the reputation of being the largest wine-grower in Europe, it is a matter of pride for all the men and women at Vranken-Pommery Monopole.
Harvest, vinification & ageing: The grapes for this cuvée come from a selection of our finest Chardonnay vines. Night harvesting and direct pressing optimise the extraction of the primary aromas from the grapes. After a slow, gentle pressing, the tête de cuvée (first) must enters the fermentation process. A very precise control of the temperature allows a beautiful expression of the fermentation aromas.
